The days begin to get colder, the cosy jumpers sneak thier way out of the Drawers and the nights start to creep in earlier and earlier. But amidst all the beauty of Leaves floating to the gRound, our stress levels begin to float higher and highEr. The school work starts to pile on and every day there seems To be mountains of work to do. I have to admit that during the weEk when i can't stay up any longer to complete my art homework or learn my wuthering heights notes, i find myself Longing For the weekend to come around, if only to give me enough time to get on top of things.
But this is no way to liVe!
So tonight I'm going to teach you how to relax any day of the week...
FIRST decide When you're going to stop working. Now a dAys i aim to stop at around half nine. There's no point staying up to all hours to do work- it won't be the best quality so You're not going to gEt much oUt of it.
ONCE THAT TIME FINALLY COMES AROUND THERE are Loads of possibIlities to help you relax! PersonallY one of my favourite ways is to flicK on the fairy lights, curl up in a blanket (preferably with a mug of steamy tea) and Get into a Goof book. My Favourite for this time of year is the harry Potter books. Right now i'm reading the chamber of secrets.
But if you're not much of a reader, another great way to unwind is By having a Big olf bubble bath. But don't just make it any old one, put a little effort into it and it will feel more relaxing than ever! Light a few candles, get a bathbomb, set up your computor to watch a movie and voilÉ, the mood has been set!
ANOther way in which i use to relax, is having a movie marathon with my friends! One day after school meet up with one or two of your Besties, switch on Netflix, gather up a huge sElectiOn of sweets (popcorn and coke included!), snuggle up under a big blanket togEther and juSt watch...
I' m not going to suggest the typical tamper rountine As a relaxAtion tool, as most times this actually ends up stressing me out- i mean waiting patientky for a face mask to dry while you Maticulously apply layers of paint to your nAils? No thanks. And just wait until they smuDge. You'll end up even more stressed than before!
