This week has really shown me who my friends are, who to cherish and how to surround yourself with motivating people, people who make you laugh and people who look out for you. Especially coming up to Christmas It's important to be around uplifting and kind people.
Advice I would extend to you is that you shouldn't be afraid to be yourself because then friends you make will not be genuine. You should always ensure that your friends want the best for you & they push you to keep going.
I also think that Christmas is the time of good cheer, be forgiving and just enjoy the festive season.
I've also been learning to appreciate every little moment... good or bad. It will always be a learning curve.
Speaking of friends, Yourworld has afforded me the chance to get to know many different faces & today i'm going to be talking about our lovely new friend, Denise. If you have been following our blog for a while you would know that we have collabed before with her. This time I want to show you her lovely wintery theme. If you're coming from insta, you will see we have also changed things with our theme & we are forver inspired by denise's effortlessly stylish winter theme. Her use of colder colours makes her insta really vivid. You need to check out her insta... @copperandecualyptus I am honestly always anticipating the next wee story or titbit she'll share. She has lovely children who feature in her photos & I love to hear what they all be getting up to. When I heard that her oldest daughter was helping out in Belfast fashion week I was so excited for her because I know how significant it is in NI fashion & even worldwide fashion.
I'm now going to talk a little about friends. Friends are people who have your back but aren't afraid to tell you if you've stepped out of line. It's about communication & working past problems because that's what makes resilient friendships.
I'm forever inspired by my friends because although we have different interests we are all on the same wavelength & I now have the type of friends I always wanted. A group that I know will all live their dreams & take their hearts wherever they go.
Out of my friends I have all of the stereotypes; the artsy and creative one, the clever and articulate one, unafraid to speak her mind and even less afraid to stick up for her friends. I also have that one who has the most aesthetic vibes, strumming her ukulele and quoting Pinterest all day. I also have that friend whose head is consumed by business, too clever for her own good. But above all their individual quirks altogether they are the most lovely group of friends I could have.
Something I've been thinking about recently is "am I a good friend?" "Do I give back to them?" "Am I considerate enough?". start to think about this in your own life. But don't compromise your values your values to keep friends; sometimes the memories are more special than the person standing in front of you & that's okay too. often, friends can grow out of each other, people change and that's a positive sing. It doesn't mean you don't care.
So I'll end this Blog on a high note. Document this December. Remember 2017 & make it a good one. Because things are changing every day. Appreciate the moment.
