C'est avril and I are super wedding obsessed these days and after long discussions on what our dream weddings would be like we have done these hand in hand blogs. Even though I am sitting listening to single ladies right now... I am so invested in this dream wedding.
First things first, I think that before you begin to plan any wedding you have to be really sure of your style, what you want & the things you may be willing to compromise. You should also be confident in your own skin. I stress to you, don't try on wedding dresses or pick flowers with someone who is too critical even if you really value their opinion. I have two best friends with style I adore and I already know they'll be coming to help me out when that day comes. Pick someone honest and fashion forward but not someone who isn't open minded. You should also be aware that bargains aren't some rare occurrences in weddings. they are extortionately expensive or "an arm and a leg" as c'est avril would say. You can find absolute steals for the little things like décor and even just bits and pieces yet make it the perfect wedding for you.
If you are like me then you could spend hours scouring pinterest for inspo and i'm all for it! the only way to pull off the most glam wedding is to be inspired by all that you see. Even if you can't buy a designer wedding dress, very often you can find the very same just without the label. the key is to search everywhere. even in places you would never consider. you may be surprised.
don't make planning a wedding a stressful or upsetting experience. don't think about what you can't afford and instead get a few of your best friends to help you pick up all the things you would like and sometimes you won't be too disappointed if you can't get it all. A wedding is all about love and even with a small budget, an eye for fashion and a little creativity can go a long way.
BE INSPIRED !!!!!
Let all of this diy décor inspire you! These are the most beautiful scenes I have scene although basically all there is is Mother Nature's helping hand, enhanced by a few fairy lights. You need to enlist creative people, be smart about your wedding because it is possible not to break the bank. Being around the ever creative Yours Sincerely and C'est Avril has taught me one thing... manipulate your arty friends to help you out.
But honestly, C'est avril has pulled some stunning events out of her hat for very minimal prices as she has such an eye for diy. I also want you to remember that your wedding is all about you and your partner. Have the wedding of your dreams, you don't have to stick to the average chapel & hotel affair.
To all of you brides to be that was for you.
and now an even bigger treat.
C'est Avril is covering the hair aspect of this all sooo....
Check her out.
