So I see that you're back for more. Have you unpacked that great big box holding an object that will make your days seem a little more dreamy & have your company dancing around your bedroom to their favourite songs.
What is your brand new record player like?
I know that you have been dying to see my favourite records and I have been even more dying to give you a glimpse into my record collection! Most of these records were inexpensive second hand records which work beautifully!
Before I go on I feel the need to let you know that records should be encased neatly & you should always be careful not to scratch it. That announcement will hopefully save a few tears. I ruined a wonderful elvis record and so I just had to warn you!
On that note here is my favourite record which was on the pricy side as it is brand new. Anyone who knows me knows I love elvis & this record brings me back to the fab 50s.
Next is my Great Gatsby record which was £2 but sounds so smooth and beautiful you would think I bought it when it first came out in the 50s also!
This record was also very cheap as it was second hand and it meant that I could spend my money on other things yet still have a gorgeous collection. Some people love the songs and others don't but since I love musicals this is a great mood booster.
Oh my gosh, the laughs that my friends and I have had with this record are worth every penny of this slightly dearer record. The songs aren't quite as old which kind of ruins the vintage vibes of the record player but I just adore singing along to ABBA with my friends into hair bushes dancing all the way!
It's been lovely sharing with you my records & how to be economical buying a record player. Do buy a record player if they are your thing and you think it will be used as it my favourite thing in my bedroom and helps me to destress.
