If you know we YW girls you'll know we will take the excuse of Halloween and turn it into a festivity. we all had amazing adventures this week and had a break from blogging. Sometimes we need to stop documenting out lives and start actually living them. But we are back and better than ever this week with lovely Halloween inspired blogs for you all.
This week I went to a weird & wonderful parade and firework display which and it was lovely to see how all of the different groups in the parade interpreted Halloween. It was simple but lovely to spend time with family.
Sometimes people underestimate the power of having a simple night with friends and family instead of having huge Halloween parties. It can be much more personal and comfortable having a simple Halloween at home or a friend's.
Halloween is a lovely holiday because it's the calm before the storm (Christmasss) and it still isn't absolutely freezing outside. It gives people a chance to be creative with their style with autumnal colours and warm coats and scarfs with an idyllic touch.
Below I have collated my fave autumn looks for this time of year with clothes from Topshop, Mango, Zara & also some designer clothes thrown into the mix.
Last but never least here is some autumn inspiration for you all. November is the time to get motivated after a break. all the new year new me hype can be off putting because you try to make all these crazy changes all at once. Try in small steps to make little changes, be refreshed and have a very productive November.
I also have some light reading for you. Our friend Gina Pastina (ginapastina_me) on instagram has a wonderful word press blog called emails to anonymous and it is not only funny, quirky and lighthearted but it really does make you inspired to be innovative and creative and do something different. There's a lovely atmosphere around GIna's blog. It's not the average blog either. Check it out!!
So that's it guys. I'm glad to be back in action and I can't wait to hear your feedback.
I hope you all had the loveliest Halloween & that you go back and kick butt in whatever you may be doing at the end of this year.
